Hard Questions….
The questions are hard. Project design, monitoring, evaluation, even knowing what capacity your team needs is never easy if you are working with sustainable livelihood, participatory conservation, community health, gender, education, inclusion, rights-… any aspect of human and environmental wellbeing. In the messiness you want answers in tune with the people and place in which your work is nested, answers that integrate hard quantitative indices with fuzzier but no less important human values, attitudes and cultural norms, answers to inform a ‘next right step’ . But its not clear what information you need, how to get it, what it means or how to use it. If it all seems impossibly complex, don’t despair. Out there, whispering in your context, there really are
